Week Cap

It’s not the norm for electronic producers to release studio albums these days.  It’s not as profitable as it once was and certainly not as profitable as live performances.  Does John Dahlback give a shit? No.  He is just as talented as anyone in the industry, but has stuck to what has brought him to that level: consistency.  He is the opposite of a “sell out”, whatever that means, and that approach has landed the Swedish novelist a strong global following among the “underground” house junkies.  His counterparts Tiesto and Calvin Harris, not quite as underground, if you will, also have been busy behind the computer cranking out new beats lately.  Tiesto’s latest leak is no deviation from the norm of what we expect from the icon and Calvin’s “Sweet Nothing” is one of the hottest new vocal samples on the market.  Get these tracks now before they get played out.  Believe me, they will.
