Who says throwbacks are only fitting for Thursday? Not I said the king. Remember this fella, the Swiss sensation Mr. DJ Antoine himself? Had some big hits back in the day before the Icii’s, Jack’s, and Esso’s were treading the waters. Well Tony Arzadon, a well-known Chicago DJ/Producer added some spunk to one of Antoine’s most notable tracks – “Underneath”. This is one of those cuts that will stand the test of time, no matter what. And when the likes of people of Tony’s stature come along, its shelf life only extends that much further. So this one is for you DJ Antoine, have a good show tonight in Halle, Germany at none other than MDR Sputnik @ Laternenfest (I know you’re asking yourself when in Knights of Columbus is set because I happen to be in Halle!? 21:30-23:00). Cheers.

Underneath (Tony Arzadon Remix) – DJ Antoine
Bonus: For those yearning for something more mainstream slash current, here ya go. You’ve all heard it already, but here is a 320kbps 251kbps version of SHM’s last act. What do I think? Sub-par (too emotional half the crowd is going to start crying every time this plays) Took a couple more listens, and it really is masterfully produced. They went for the feel-good track and nailed it, however have to hand it to Martin’s dominating performance on vocals. This guy’s pipes are the best thing since Mariah Carey. Next, is a souped-up version of Avicii’s “Silhouettes” from the Italian duo Nari & Milani. Sounds stunningly similar to “Atom”. I enjoy this version 10-fold more than the original as it covers a very wide range of sounds in order to tap into that inner rave. You be the judge…

About the Swedish House Mafia – Don’t You Worry Child Extended Mix, what it actually is: it is the same vbr promo that has been floating around the net recently, not 320kbps which presumably comes out on 14th of September.. propably also not so legal to share it..
