Ever since Tiesto exploded to the mainstream, departing from what once made him so famous, trance, to some amalgamation of electro/pop-house I began to pay much less attention. However, to my disbelief, it seems that Tiesto has redeemed himself with this one. Last time I heard a solid U2 remix was when “Magnificent” was released. “Pride” is easily my most coveted U2 track of all time. Been listening to this one since I was just a little teeny-bopper. And it takes big cojones to venture into the realm of U2. Tiesto effortlessly pulls off a nearly perfect electronic rendition of this famous 1984 rock ballad. Tiesto, you got game bro. Cheers.
