So basically, Weavir is a new web-based music discovery services that connects users (you) through the discovery of music blogged content (us), concerts (the artists), and musical similarities (all of us!). Since you’ve visited Chubby Beavers, and most likely many similar blogs on a constant basis, you enjoy the music we bring to you daily. Well, imagine if all your favorite curators were in one, easy, and accessible place. What really sets Weavir apart from the many other discovery services that have inundated the digital arena is that you can discover up-to-date music and concerts through similar people, and vice versa. Now, how can we make Weavir happen? Fundraising.
Weavir just launched a crowd funding campaign on Indiegogo, which is a way to raise money for a company by recruiting large amounts of people to contribute small amounts of money via the Internet. Weavir is launching through a crowd funding campaign in order to get people involved and to build an online community of contributors who will help create the platform through creative engagement and feedback.
