I Rave You (Give It To Me)

I remember making a post about a year back claiming that Basto was a rip-off of Avicii. Well, one of the beauties of making public statements is that the entire world will fact check the shit out of you. Little did I know, Basto actually came before Avicii, and his sound is by no means a copy of Tim’s. That being said, I respect Basto for his work, and have been following him closely ever since. His “I Rave You” cut has not only been a favorite of mine, but of the festival circuit as well. This little dub take’s out the rough electro drop, which I enjoyed so dearly, and gives it a bit more progressive vibe by adding smoother chords and airy vocals. Next, Cazzette, the brainchild duo and second coming of the brilliant Ash Pournouri, brings us a heated remix of Alex Clare’s uber-popular “Too Close”. Alex, you owe Internet Explorer a big thanks for blowing up your track. Cheers.
