Trashed Kids

Tommy Trash has reached the 60,000 Facebook fan mark and he is feeling groovy about it.  He decided to give back with a crafty bootleg of his own remix of Pnau’s “Unite Us” and MGMT’s “Kids”.  Trash’s edit of “Unite Us” was a banger on its lonesome, but he decided to twist it up a notch by adding the sexy baseline from the ever so famous “Kids”.  I know this song gets remixed a lot, but in this scenario, Trash gets creative beyond the norm and you must tip your hat to Tommy for his ability to edit tracks to suit all sorts of listeners.  I told you those Aussie’s were coming on strong, don’t sleep on them people!

Great post. It’s not the bassline he takes though – it’s the lead/melody. But it’s used in a different way – the original is a major tonality and this one is the relative minor.
