The Knocks

The Knocks is electronic musics version of The Roots.  They’ve got soul, they keep it real, they don’t answer to critics, and they stick to their strengths. I’ve only recently dug deep into their collection, finding a raw blend of electronic grittiness and rhythmic soul.  They bring a level of creativity to the table that is absent in the majority of electronic productions to date.  For a clear example of this, peep their fantastic remix of M83′s monster track “Midnight City”.  You will not be let down.  Don’t miss The Knocks live at Jay-Z’s Made in America Festival in Philadelphia at the end of the month in what’s sure to be the show of the summer.  That’s all for now.
