The King Gets Jacked

It was only a matter of time.  The King of Pop was bound to see his way into the EDM scene, it was just a question of when and how.  In an attempt to resurrect the king, Michael Jackson’s estate has partnered with Sony to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Michael’s grammy-winning album “Bad”  and has targeted a few of the elite electronic DJs to inject some club life into it.  Sir Afrojack was the first to get his paws on it and returned a serious winner.  Mr. Van de Wall’s take on “Bad” preserves the legendary work of MJ by not overproducing it.  In fact, it would be rather difficult to spot that it is an Afrojack cut until around the 3 minute mark where his trademark sounds emerge.  Serious respect to Nick for not going overboard on this one and treating it with the respect it deserves.  The official release date for this sucker isn’t for a few months now, so be grateful that we’re here to keep you ahead of the game.  Enjoy this thriller loosely.
