I know you people didn’t think we were done with #TBT just because we took one measly week off. No no no. #TBT is without doubt one of the best holidays on the calendar. I sandwich it between Christmas and Thanksgiving, directly behind Halloween. This holy day comes every week and it gives us an excuse to listen to electronic music that is actually good. No more shitty house tracks! This week features the dirty dutchmen Chuckie, who, in my opinion, was one of the best DJs in the game back at the start of this whole American house music fiasco (think Fall 2010). His “Bumpy Ride” remix was one of the songs that got me into the heavier electronic sound, a pioneering transition from hip hop to this dance music nonsense. Then I heard “Move It 2 The Drum” and I just wanted to fuck shit up. Break something, hurt someone, I don’t really know. It just clicked. Throw it back to some of my favorite oldies with me tonight.
