All things being equal, this is a great song in it of itself. By that I mean the remix. However, Skrillex has such an edge to his sound, which to some can be heard as cacophony and others a beautiful coalescing of dubsteppy-electrowobbly madness. Kaskade turned this madness into a progressive cut, stripping the song of its integrity. I like it, don’t get me wrong, and no hating on Kaskade because he is a legend in his own right, but to remix a Skrillex song almost seems impossible, there is just too much there. His success stems completely from the utter madness of whatever the fuck goes through his head and comes out in the notes. It would be like taking the bleep out of Afrojack, or the melody out of Avicii. Enough ranting considering I don’t even care for Skrillex too much and this is a remix so check it for yourself while I climb into a whole. Cheers.
