Released August 20, the LP Illumination has proven more worthy than expected. I’m a huge Miami Horror fan. I’m a huge fan of Benjamin Pint (mastermind behind the disco-quartet), and I’m a huge fan of any artist out of Melbourne, Australia. Their music brings some Michael Jackson flair, sprinkled with Daft Punk, and finally, which some may object, some reminiscent melodies of Groove Armada. It’s definitely a modern disco sound that has deviated itself from the rest of the modern disco sound just because these guys are great musicians who understand their niche, and undersand what needs to be done to make something of commercial success. Check the Sam La More remix of their hit “Moon Theory”. Cheers.
