Geronimo

Ahh, the sight of good old Freddy Falk and The Knocks on a track never fails to excite. Two of the most coveted producers in the world of gnarly remixes, the product of their doing this time around is consistent with their nearly flawless and longstanding track record. However, “Geronimo” is an original cut, fueled with an energetic/grinding bass line and a 4-beat sounding alarm element that leads us right into dream-like vocals. At this point, you are guided down a path right back into that bass line, however this time around they add a little bit of funk and electro-house. Very interesting track to say the least if you had trouble understanding wtf I was trying to describe back there. Another rule of thumb: If you see the name Fred Falke and/or The Knocks on a track, do yourself and the loved ones around you a favor…listen and learn. Oh and take a peak at the Louis La Roche, aka Prince of French disco house, remix. Cheers.

Bonus: Meant to post this nugget for awhile. Not sure what the hell they are saying lyircally, but sure as hell is an uplifting and stellar remix from the freakishly versatile Dahlback…
