Keane is a band out of Ireland who’ve opened for the likes of U2. They are legit, and if you don’t know their name by now, get with it. Now, one thing I love about Keane is that they don’t have a guitarist. Makes their sounds dreamy, but some how they still maintain to garner a rock crowd. Now take Alesso, EDM genius, and you just may have yourself for a stellar house bomb. Melodic, upbeat, and anthemic. Cheers.

Polish producer Cherry Coke has made some leeway with his newest installments that has caught the attention of mine, and many others’ ears.Often do you see new producers taking the melodic/progressive route, but rarely do you see them succeed. But wait, Cherry Coke did. Take a special listen to “More Coke” as CC employs not only progressive, but electro, and even some dubstep! It’s incredible how he does it, and its even more incredible how well it blends (talk about innovative). Check it. Cheers.

The tandem of Starkillers avec Dmitry KO is one you don’t take lightly. Every release of theirs is characterizes by a big, offbeat type drop (possibly syncopated? correct me if my assessment of musical theory is wrong…) that emphasizes the shit out of the bass. Think of the haunted house sounding track “Do U Love” that has that reverberating “Ommmm” sound. Recently, they released one remix and one original that follows in the same vein, and I think it’s incredibly innovative. Wish I could hear their tracks “live” at some point. Cheers.

This is a more dated Gigamesh track, as compared to his newest remix featuring Dave 1 from Chromeo, but it is definitely my most coveted burn of his works. Everything about it screams jazz, straight up. From Senor Stereo’s buttery voice, to the delicate piano in the background, back to the vibin’ sax in the foreground, and even the faint tap of the triangle, this cut is silky smooth. Cheers.
