Darkness

Got some cuts that would best be played on bass-heavy speakers in a dimly-lit environment, preferably in some sort of derelict warehouse. Gesaffelstein is redefining French techno, and he’s doin’ a freakishly good job at it (check Dancing Astronaut for a look into his set at Zoo). His track “Viol”, which dates back to 2011, has been sitting on my burner for awhile and I think it’s about time to share. Its sluggish BPM and haunting sound effects put you in some sort of warped trance, so beware. I would consider this track the evil sibling to Kavinsky’s “Nightcall”.  Next, I got a NiCe7 cut, which is a bit groovier and hosts a wave of buttery vocals. When the time is just right, there is nothing better than some rolling in the deep. Cheers.
